=> Working as a freelancer during 2003 writing a number of articles and essays for The Review, Dawn –weekly magazine with the highest circulation in Pakistan. These include;

  • Do You Smell What I Smell –an assessment of the environmental impacts of Tasman Spirit oil spill in layman’s terms.
  • Monsoon Pleasures –a sarcastic take on the environmental disaster caused by unexpected showers in the poorly infra-structured and ill managed city of Karachi.

 
=> Serving as the editor of Brainwave; the official newsletter of Mensa Pakistan between June 1, 2005 and August 30, 2005.
 
=> Winning 3rd place in writingcompetition.com’s 2006-2 competition for short story Climax.
 
=> Telecommuting for varied American clientele such as Right Solutions Inc. during summer 2001 and 2002, writing more than 50 academic essays, papers and reports on various subjects.

Ability to communicate well as a teacher/mentor delegating technical knowledge and responsibilities.

=> Working as a Teaching Assistant for Computing for Engineers course at University of Houston during Fall 2006.

 

=> Working as environmental consultant with Hagler Bailly Pakistan, training and managing a team of technical writers, data analysts, draftsmen and engineers to streamline and manage the report preparation process for risk assessments at more than forty Shell operational/retail sites spread around Pakistan, from data collection at site, to electronic data sorting and analysis, till the publishing of final copy.
